Nice episode. Enjoyed the conversation and Mechanics explanation of what's going on. I do think it's unsettling how the community concern on this is basically being ignored by Core. The world needs to adjust to Bitcoin, not Bitcoin to the world. Keep Bitcoin decentralized by prioritizing nodes.

Nodes must have the autonomy to do what they choose. THAT, determines the Bitcoin network.

Listened to Mechanic’s and Shenobi’s case and Mechanic makes a more compelling argument. Also Mechanic has much more detail compared to Shenobi. I am currently on Mechanic side of the argument so far.
