Wanted to share this link. Sure you guys are in top of this and probably will shore up in this weeks episode but had to share. Can see many different sides of what is going on here. Chris Rant opportunity?? https://www.forbes.com/sites/jonmarkman/2026/04/08/what-is-…

For the love of all that’s holy, enough about AI. I work in IT and am censored tired of every vendor talking about their AI offering. “You can’t spell ‘FAILURE’ without AI” I stopped listening about halfway through this one. Please give me a safe haven where I don’t have to hear about the joys of you know what

I really enjoyed this episode and would love even more in-depth coverage like it. I enjoy all of your AI coverage. I know it can’t be all AI, all the time; nor should it be… you guys do an excellent job. Keep it up.

Hello Chris, Wes and Brent. I'm a Jupiter Party Member, and I primarily listen to your show to get insight into new open source tools that will be useful for me. I'm currently listening to 661 (for the second time), and I just wanted to say keep up the good work. I really appreciate your content on Open AI agents and NixOS.

I'm simultaneously sick to death of hearing about AI, and enjoying LUP's AI coverage. You all are on a very, very short list of exceptions, because you strike a good balance. Both in terms of the amount of coverage, but also in being neither cheerleaders nor thought-free haters. I'm pretty much aligned with Brent, and like he clearly is, I'm enjoying hearing Chris and Wes's AI adventures

Hey guys! Just wanted to say thank you for all the variety in the show including current tech news and AI. I always appreciate a show that entertains me and keeps me up to date. Not enough time in the day to stay current on my own. This show continues to dive deep on interesting and helpful topics. Keep up the good work!

I enjoy the AI subject matter and the way you cover it. I’m fairly new to the Linux and FOSS world and now I have to weave AI into it all, so I appreciate the way you bring it into the Linux ecosystem, give examples of practical use cases and also potential hooks to be aware of. AI is here to stay and everyone needs to understand how to use it, so leep the content coming, that’s my vote.

Really liking the AI coverage but I know it is not everyone's cup of tea. Could chapters help those wanting to skip the subject? I think the current ratio between AI and not is good. Keep up the good work.
-
I think you guys are balancing AI and non-AI topics very well. I can definitely tell there is a lot of work put in each week to keep topics fresh and highlight the lesser hyped things. Keep it up

Also, wanted to throw out there I've loved the members bootleg feed update having the video enclosure! Life has been crazy busy so being able to see the amazing studio, your facial reactions, & friendly faces has been awesome when I get some downtime 😁 FYI, since you'd chatted with Fountian a lot in the past, when rotating to landscape mode using the video version in full screen the Fountain logo cuts off part of C…

While I can appreciate other listeners sentiments (and initially for a little I agreed) that there was too much AI convo. But I reflected on it a while back & I have really appreciated the pragmatic and fun approachs JB has taken with AI. For a while you'd used it in the background & not brought it up much because (I'm assuming) it wasn't as applicable for the wider audience (i.e. song generation), but as you've fou…

Please no more AI. Everyone is talking now only about AI.
