I hear many prominent / high profile bitcoiners keep saying the reason they oppose Luke’s reasoning is because “filters don’t work” “it’s not easy” “I’m as opposed to jpeg as much as anyone, but there is no solution”. Now this potential soft fork is a solution. Do you still want jpeg and garbage on chain, or do you not? I think the true colour of many people will show just by looking at which way they lean.

Thank you. I upgraded to core 30. To think that consensus transactions are worse than a soft fork is antithetical to bitcoin. I may not love nfts/ordinals but I also don't like terrorist orgs using bitcoin, but the whole point is it's not up to me what transaction is "spam" or worthy of being censored.
