You want to know how a raise would get processed by the economy? Well I'd increase my DCA. Also would have a bit more for smash buys when the price drops. There's also talks of a $2000 stimmy coming in. That should cover the cost of a Canaan Avalon Q and a few months of electricity. So I guess both of them would get processed as more sats in my wallet.

In anticipation of your deep dive on AlbyHub, let me say that AlbyHub is a growing disappointment for me. I tried to create two self-hosted docker AlbyHub instances with the idea that I would experiment with custom channels between the two instances (to avoid the expensive/limited LSP's baked into AlbyHub). Wrong! It seems at every turn AlbyHub hides key technical details and config options from the UI in the name o…

Every month I add a little extra to my regular DCA and keep it in a mobile wallet for spending. I want Bitcoin to be money, so want to make that a reality. They’re only interested in the velocity of transactions and the fees associated with them. Although I appreciate the novelty in widespread adoption, Why would I exchange a hard asset for a depreciating one let alone a consumable one. Who wants to go down in history as pu…

of course i'm going to spend my sats, i don't have another choice - i don't hold dollars. even when a merchant sees me using a credit card, i'm paying the usd bill with bitcoin via Strike. but for everyone else, they can use cashapp to make lightning payments from their usd balance or linked debit card! Bitcoin is the new payment rail

I can tell you with absolute certainty that I will never trade sats for a pumpkin spice latte

Are you staying on Knots or Core? If Core 30, are you making any changes to the default configuration?

Re: Would I spend my sats at a store with Square that’s offering the option of paying in BTC? Absolutely, but I’d do it via the cash side of the Strike app where I pay the invoice straight from my checking account. I’d do it every time simply to help normalize paying that way.
