250 Found my class one job when I was 42. Was able to go full time at 45. Love being a paramedic. Would do it for free. Of course money money would be nice. (Maybe a bit less overtime as well) I found it by looking at what I was doing as a volunteer and then took a part time job, then realized I like it better so applied for full time. Would I do my job for no pay if money did not matter? Yes, I did for ten years!

My dad is 83. In the last three years he has started focusing on building up fiat so he can leave a lot to the grandkids and great grand kids. He got scammed on $2k and agreed to have myself and a sister to approve any plan over $100. I thing the old lady likely was thinking the same, “I need more so I can leave it to my family because they have not had the same good life I have.” The biggest issue is he does not think through like he use to. His thinking is like a teenager, only looking at now and believing only the best can result. I think that is part of the decline humans go through.
