Show Notes
Michael Saylor joins the show for a conversation on Bitcoin, power, and the treasury company playbook. We recap 2025 and look forward at 2026 with Michael arguing that Bitcoin’s real progress shows up in institutions, credit markets, accounting rules, and bank adoption, not short term price action. We then get into a confrontational debate on Bitcoin treasury companies, mNAV, and corporate adoption. Michael rejects the criticism outright, arguing that attacking companies buying Bitcoin misses the bigger picture and misunderstands optionality, operating leverage, and risk. We explore his vision of Bitcoin evolving from digital capital into digital credit, why cr...

"why all the hate?" - Saylor.

Saylor makes me want to sell my Bitcoin until he's purged from the system. The narcissist will lose all his and his companies Bitcoin. He. Is. Bad. For. Bitcoin. In. The. Short. Term.
-
Spending sats just to call Saylor a feelings catcher lol.

Really great talk and Good job Danny for keeping cool. Saylor and Saifedean have 2 very different views on bitcoin and fiat. Saylor thinks bitcoin will underpin the fiat system. Ie the same credit based system with Bitcoin not fiat at the base. Saifedean thinks bitcoin will take all the value from the fiat system into this new system it creates. Ie destroy the credit based system and replace it with a bitcoin standa…

The only insulting part here was Saylor. He dodged the real questions by attacking Danny because he couldn't give him a candid answer. Danny's question is absolutely valid. "Pure-play" Bitcoin treasury companies are not simply competing to buy bitcoin, as Saylor tried to frame it. Rather, they are all in the same business of repackaging bitcoin and selling it as products to TradFi. As such, the pool of potential sto…

lol of course Michael Saylor is unhinged… are we surprised?

Saylor seems a bit touchy. Danny did an excellent job asking the right questions even if he didn’t get the real answer.

On what mission is Mr Sailor? He’s not making anything better for himself and his space.

Well, that's the last WBD with Saylor. I'm still trying to understand what his point is. Danny is trying to ask what the value proposition is for companies that previously did not exist but now have no apparent business model other than to accumulate bitcoin and pay debt off with the gains. I think Saylor is trying to say that the value comes from how that bitcoin is deployed, but admittedly, today there is no clear…

Wow, this “interview” (which wasn’t really an interview because Michael never shut up enough to let you ask questions) solidified my thought that he is a total shill for the debt based Ponzi scheme that is the fiat banking system. He can sugarcoat himself in bitcoin all he wants, he’s Fiat to and through and helping keep the proverbial train going full steam ahead.
-
Congrats to Danny for a successful year of WBD, and for not shilling Ledger like Peter. Raising the integrity of the show a notch.

Saylor so triggered absolutely not interesting to listen to 🤣

Seems like Saylor got a little butt hurt. Classic billion elitist.
