How do you handle updates on your nodes? I often have updates to run on Ubuntu and many of the other services on my Bitcoin & LND nodes. I know you are running agents for a lot of things, do you give agents access to your nodes for updates? Sounds a bit risky, especially on an LND node, so I wanted to hear how you approach managing your updates. Thanks.

BTC bummer boost! This is my third bear market and maybe the worst one yet- sentiment is extremely low with no clear reason for hope in sight. We need some good news fast!

You know what the most valuable asset you have or ever will have is? Your time. It is the hardest money that ever was or will be. You are guaranteed to have a finite amount. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. And you have no way to know your balance. Attention is how we spend it. I find you, Chris, and TWiB and The Bitcoin Dad and so many Jupiter shows over the years have brought me so much value for my time. I have drasti…

Hi Chris, Thanks for the show and your unerring reliability. A 5 year bear market for me would mean a change in time preference. My basic strategy doesn’t change, only how long it takes to enact and which generation benefits more. It is a fascinating question in general though, i.e. how long to HODL and when to spend. Just how long do you want to defer your gratification for? At the end of the day it seems to be a b…

More likely to disbelieve btc long term value if bip 110 fails

I couldn’t agree more with your take on BIP110. The number one thing that would make me question my Bitcoin thesis is if a minority group could force its will on the majority. Core messed up big time, but I’ll take jpegs onchain over setting the precedent that a small, angry minority can push through massive consensus changes.

Simply Sessions guys are great. It was the Doomberg clip, the green chicken. That guy is very smart, good substack subscription.
