I own a tavern & pizzaria… AI Isn’t replacing me OR any of my staff. In fact, I could get behind the arguement that It increases future job potential. I use it daily to help fine-tune social media posts, brainstorm pizza and cocktail features, and even write recipes… All of which add to my productivity, reach, and growth.

As an educator AI is a tool to first draft output like report card comments, email responses, lessons plans, and unit planning. Essentially it has increased my productivity, reducing my hours, allowing me to spend more time on human interactions with my students and colleagues. As a teacher AI is a tool to draft my lesson plans, report card comments, and emails. I have ideas around using it for assessment that I have not tested yet. So my hours of work have been reduced, the quality of my Productions has increased, and my pay has remained unchanged.

Has AI affected my job? Yes, in a positive way. I am self employed and take care of clients’ website and e-commerce infrastructure. AI allows me to do way more than before. An example is testing, I use AI to write scripts to automate testing, saves me hours each time. AI helps me troubleshoot issues on tools I have very little experience with. AI has augmented the way I work, but I haven’t seen it replace or even threaten my job. The real drawback is that mgmt has started taking AI responses as gospel. Enjoy PlanetNIX!!

This is an overly terse follow-up from my previous cut off boost. Whichever way BIP110 is eventually resolved, the risk of a minority forcing their opinion on Bitcoin doesn’t change. Consider: that risk exists today. It’s what BIP110 is trying to exploit. The opposition to BIP110 is to not change anything. If nothing changes then that risk still has to exist. I work in the MTB industry and am unaffected, like you using ai tools can be a big help as we’re a small team wearing many hats and ai certainly has streamlined business, legal and HR research. I do have a close friend in the Saas industry and he’s had to completely pivot creating a new service within ai or otherwise be completely replaced being a coder, hacker, ect. I’m a software engineer at IBM, and there’s been a recent push for us to start using what is essentially an internal clone of Claude Code as a “coding buddy.” My team has mainly been using it heavily to help speed up our code review process, which has been our biggest bottleneck. I work in manufacturing. Our company has softly mandated that all supervisors and leaders must use AI daily. I see this as more of a crowdsourcing effort to yield Innovation. AI may dissolve some positions but it’ll be a minute before that actually happens and substantially affect the markets. IMO.

I’ve been wondering how on earth these institutions have been buying tens of thousands of actual BTC when only a finite amount can be mined a day. It can’t all be OTC from exchanges. I am an IT sysadmin that also enjoys coding. LLMs have changed by job a little bit in that I don't have to spend as much time sorting through search results to find solutions to my problems. I'm able to find things sooner and have answers that are more catered to the problem that I am having. For coding, I enjoy doing it and I don't have a pressure to release anything faster than normal so agentic coding hasn't real…

I work in a law office. AI is used for research and drafting documents. It hasn’t eliminated any jobs, but it has made us more productive. If anything, we’re actually looking to hire. If I can make a recommendation to folks, check out trymaple.ai - it offers end to end encryption so the confidential client information remains private and isn’t used to train AI models.
