Just upgraded my nix machines to 25.05. I run unstable on my main laptop (m2 air running nixos-apple-silicon), the stable release on most of my homelab and maintain the options for the 2 inputs in my flake : https://github.com/KongrooParadox/nixfiles This was my second nixos release since getting into Nix last year (February I think), and this strategy made it really painless.
