Thank you. This was helpful. I can see the appeal of a developer meritocracy ignoring anything non-technical. Unfortunately I don't think that's very realistic for a project as important as Bitcoin Core.

The best example of core going woke was the blackist change in 2020. It's a particularly good example because the PR author explicitly did it for woke reasons: to use a "more appropriate" word and "make everyone happy".
