Great debut guys. On the subject of password keepers what do you think about using browsers to save passwords? Is the data stored locally or in the cloud?

I'm about half way through this series, and it's absolutely chilling. If ever there was a case for the existence of Evil in this world, then this is a pretty good place to lay the foundation of such. The methodical approach, taken with such care and patience, over such a long period of time, and with such a wide net, can never be accidental. It is coordinated malice and hatred of humanity on a scale I don't think has existed before. Learning about this has been extremely motivating for me. I am thinking deeply about how to life going forward. One of your best episodes Guy - thank you

Curious show about a free market economist arguing against private property ownership of land, and gold as money. The argument against gold is that it is an 'abomination against nature' because it does not decay is exactly the reason it was used as a store of value. The property ownership argument is that the land has all been taken and nothing is left for the current and future non-landowners. The proposed solution of community ownership of the land that is then leased to individuals does not solve the claimed problem of no-land-left-for-future-individuals. I was waiting to hear how this would be solved but he admitted that it would not be possible. I almost stopped listening a few times but decided to finish it to hear the full argument. Was left with no answers.

Enjoyable conversation but I don’t really understand Daniel’s arguments. I’m sure he is brilliant at Saas businesses but not so much at economics. The idea of us having all this free time and resources to just sit around all day makes no sense. People said the same thing when computers first came out - that certainly hasn’t happened. When tinned foods was first invented they said world hunger could now be solved because you could get food to hard to reach places without it going bad. That never happened. I don’t believe our ideal future is sitting around with nothing to do - sounds more like hell than heaven to me. Jordan Pitersens message to young men of taking on as much responsibility as you can is showing that men need purpose , not pleasure to thrive. He also talks about the digital nomad life as the future but everyone needs place to live, social places (town square, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc) and those need to be provided by local people. He also talks about centrally planning the UK as a tech hub (deciding which area should be used for specific functions). Central planning doesn’t work. I did enjoy his take on the digital life, that was interesting.
