5k Good to see not every bip110 guy is also part of Mechanic's death cult.
In my opinion bip110 is comparable to bigblockers: few influencers, 1 mining pool, bitcoin dies if we don't do this, loud plebs with strong but technically unsound opinions, minority ... The only difference is they needed hard fork which requires more "apparent" consensus. Soft fork that just limits consensus rules is much more sneaky and much more destabilizing if consensus is low (less then 80-90%) like now.

500 I don't like bip110 and think most of bip110 arguments are strictly left curve. But I agree the game theory is kind of on your side.
Do I think this is reckless? YES.
Do I like jpegs enough to actively fight for them? NO.
Will I run knots on my LN node? I will have to research that now ....
