Great episode! From a CAD perspective I will recommend Solid Edge from Siemens and Fusion 360. They are both really good professional softwares that offer a free version for amateurs and beginners. Lots of internet tutorias, very minimal KYC and for Solid you can 100% use it offline once downloaded (not sure for fusion). On the other side if any of you guys needs help or a tutorial/doubts with one of the mentioned above or even if you want to design something, reach me out! Is what I do for a living, very nice to hear the topic in ungovernable! 👍👍

Spain April 2025, major part of the electrical power (60%) shut down due to frequency instability taking out also part of Portugals grid. 8 or so people died for a shutdown of a few hours. We are definitely not prepared. Having said that, most of the security sytems on the field that I have installed have protections to lightning SPD, breakers and diferentials so maybe that helps. 😂 Top pod!

Very good pod! Hope to make it to the life one day. I have tried the "secure folder" in samsung as a second profile with its unique vpn, something like @npub1tr4dstapt… mentioned with GrapheneOS. I think there is also the option of setting a work profile with its own vpn, not tried it though
