Bitcoiners can learn a lot from the history of the band we know as Phish and the culture and circular econonmy that grew alongside them over the past 40+ years straddling the birth of the internet. Phish fans can learn a lot about the future of money built upon the internet, supported by a surprisingly similar culture with similar network effects built on human connection and aligned incentives that we call Bitcoin. Looking forward to expanding upon these concepts and maybe some music 😉!

ITM. Adam’s rant got me. Newer listener, love the show, the world still needs you both. My take is the severity to which the mainstream media (along with the obv politicians) is corrupt and dishonest is becoming difficult to bear for many people. Maybe it’s because I’m new to your analysis and content, maybe not. Please keep spreading truth.

I got 21 projects but a bitaxe ain’t one 😂… glad this rip didn’t include any mentions of merrigolds. Your 2nd chat with Travis was a school session. Been thinking about residential hotwater for a few months so the info related to hydro units (and new whatsminer) and boiler style indirect water heating was new to me and I’m a pretty seasoned (albeit whitecollar) MechE. Cheers

Great practical home mining advice, Jon. Well into my 3rd decade as a mechanical engineer (we are indeed getting old!), over engineering anything is a big pet peeve of mine and I beat that mental model into my teams. Gall’s Law comes to mind: always start simple and only add complexity once you have high confidence in the foundational design or setup. Ego has no place in a designer’s thinking if a system needs to ‘just work’. I also heat simply shunt any excess heat in my space with a thermostat controlled damper. As for Jack, the modular design is cool but unproven in the field.

Rod’s AOL handle inspired me to say that you guys are the bearclaw in the garbage bag that is Bitcoin twitter Apologies for the double reference but that’s how things go sometimes #40HPW
