I don't even know if this was meant to be partially satirical or not, but I love it and it's a banger. 💜🦴 https://wavlake.com/track/93e19e3e-d491-4dc6-aea8-8b62e7433… @nevent1qvzqqqp…

First time listener. Business Cat, I followed you for years on Twitter until I deleted my account and went nostr-only. Happy to see (hear) you again! Followed you, the show, and Fundamentals on nostr. Can't wait for the next episode! Love the casual conversational style of this! Woof!

Full disclosure, I haven't finished the episode yet, but these Roundtable episodes are always so much fun! Credit where credit is due, it was Rob who mentioned how well-timed your construction fund lump-sum. Keep up the great work! 🦴

Hi there, love the show. In response to OrangePillLawyer's boost about adopting a Bitcoin Standard with Fold, this is precisely the strategy I follow. I have my paychecks direct deposited to Fold, where they're automatically converted to sats. Each month, I sell just enough to cover my fiat expenses as they come due. One key detail to consider: I don't earn enough to incur federal capital gains taxes, so this approach may be less advantageous for someone with a higher income. I've outlined my #GetOnZero strategy and detailed my Fold workflow in an article on my website, BitcoinBarks.com. https://bitcoinbarks.com/Barks/get-on-zero/#wbb1

I really enjoyed this read and your commentary afterwards. I've been thinking a lot recently about the binary political system here in the US and the perverse incentives it promotes. Our political system incentivizes polarity and division at its core. The only way to build your following as a party is to demonize the other, and embrace the far fringes on your political side as this is far easier than actually attempting to reach across the proverbial or literal aisle. It is as though at the core of our society there is a pervasive and powerful force of division that splits us apart from each other. Like gravity pulls all things towards centers of mass over time, this force drives us apart with time. And the worst part, our systems can't seem to overcome this internal force. We can only unite when an outside force drives us to realize that we have more in common than we have apart. It could be war, economic peril, disease, or natural disaster, but some powerful external force is always needed to pull us from the event horizon of what divides us. While I have no concrete thoughts yet on how we fix this yet, it's something that's been on my mind. Bitcoin gives me hope as a system that exists outside our political divisions, offering the same hope of individual monetary sovereignty to all who would embrace it. I don't know what the future holds, I belive things get worse before they improve, but I have hope.

Gary (paraphrasing): "I blame bitcoiners for not selling it [Bitcoin]well enough, and teaching me what it was. They cost me a billion dollars." Also Gary: "It's not my job to orange-pill my brother!"

Great episode as per usual, but I have to boost to test out the new nostr integration with Fountain! Keep up the great work! As an aside; Natalie, you were incredible in God Bless Bitcoin. I've watched it 4 times so far, and am recommending it to all my friends and acquaintances. Woof!
