As a college educator I arrived at an AI course policy. I am prohibiting use for quizzes and exams, and students are not allowed to generate responses to homework prompts. I am allowing use for help with finding sources, or help with describing a concept introduced in class. For homework and presentations I ask for a brief citation of model and prompt. I am curious to see how this will work. I am hopeful the strength of this tool is that it can help learners to build confidence to ask questions early and often. https://fountain.fm/show/dWiuBeqpDSM86AwXRXov @nevent1qvzqqqp…

I did it! I took the plunge and signed up for an intro computer programming course for course credit. Until now I just have been a dabbler in writing scripts. The course is about Python. It's asynchronous online at my University. It's well done. Good blend of bite-sized chunks of written and video content with home work and quizzes. Have you guys taken lots of computer programming courses? What worked especially well for you? What inspired you?
