500 As an educator AI is a tool to first draft output like report card comments, email responses, lessons plans, and unit planning. Essentially it has increased my productivity, reducing my hours, allowing me to spend more time on human interactions with my students and colleagues. Same result as when I started using online testing tools and translation software (second language teacher) as they became more effective over the last 2 decades.

We have a tradition of shacking up or going to jail around November, or if we are really tough right after Christmas, to avoid the winter, get fed, and not freeze to death.

2.1k This reminds me of the first book I read on blockchains « The Truth Machine ». Always building your reputation, still as anonymous as you choose, and your reputation still has value. Way down the line, but could you imagine a « sorry » button? And a « forgiven » button? Seems people either say nothing for fear of becoming a meme, or hide behind burner accounts, and have no guard rails. Wouldn’t it be nice to feel you could fuck up and make amends?

2k I agree completely that this idea of "fix the money, fix the world" has to begin from the individual. "Fix the money, fix the world" is a meme, a nugget of cultural capital. Fix the money, fix the world is simply an ideal not a formula. And by sharing this meme, Fix the Money, Fix the World, it's a short, compact way of communicating that ideal. It's a way for Bitcoiners to come into alignment culturally that Bitcoin will be used for the benefit of all.

This is the #valuechain, high velocity exchange builds capital, especially if that exchange causes a chain reaction of capital to propagate. Not just financial capital (btc) but also intellectual, experiencial, social, cultural, spiritual, ect. This is how the world we want to live in gets built by participation and cooperation, big or small. The key right now is velocity in my opinion.

1.1k I was called to Bitcoin during a meditation, I had barely even heard of Bitcoin. It didn't make sense but I went down the rabbit hole very deep and very fast.
