Figuring out how to use the important 'interaction' functions of Fountain -- & moreso NOSTR -- are NOT easy, even for an "everyday technically competent" person like this 'NON-Coder" Boomer - who did develop a moderate competency with a Command Line interface ('CLI') with DOS batch commands. Anyway, if you have a subscription offer for your Once Bitten podcast, I'll gladly subscribe - but only P2P, w/o any fiat trolls (in the ORIGINAL meaning!) in between!

Hi Daniel; LOOONG time listener, FINALLY, (MAYBE?) figuring how to get Fountain connected to NOSTR, so I can Boost, Zap, subscribe - & generally just participate as a full citizen & Lifetime Committed Bitcoiner! Just minutes ago, the Fountain app allowed me to FINALLY link (or perhaps RE-link?) to the (2nd) NOSTR acct I set up back last May, when I tried to subscribe to Ced Youngleman's also excellent Bitcoin Matrix pod. Sporadically since I set up that (2nd) NOSTR acct back in May -- & much more 'intensely' over the last month or so, I've been trying to get that Fountain-NOSTR connection done, but could never see a way to do that from either side, until suddenly just now, Fountain finally offered a screen to connect to NOSTR that actually made the connection!

... Learn to cook. What a great idea!

Fascinating rip, Cedric, Jason! Especially that Northwestern Mutual is an early -- & ongoing -- investor in Meanwhile. I have 3 policies w/ NML, & have been very concerned that they needed to start including Bitcoin in at least their asset allocation. Very heartened to learn that they've been engaging w/ Bitcoin for some time already!

Huge thank you to @npub1dmcd5wqd3… for this episode. I’m not a Chicago native, but growing up 90 miles SW (Starved Rock), weekend trips were a constant. I went to DePaul and lived in Lincoln Park in the late 90s /early 2000s. The city was beautiful. World-Class. I rarely go anymore. I’d never let my teenage kids run up there for the day, or a concert, like I constantly did. Chicago and Illinois are naturally beautiful, but being destroyed by greed, incompetence, and cheap money. Keep doing what you do, Jack, it is appreciated and valued.

100% 🔥🔥 Jack!! I live and work in the part of Illinois (and neighboring states) south of I-80. It is a hollowed out shell. Towns withering away. Drugs, poverty, downtowns replaced with a Dollar General and a Caseys.
