Hello, fanboying here a bit, also think you were the first podcast we to read one of my comments into the consciousness of…anyone. :) as to your 100th episode question. Have you ever thought of an audience shift? I listened to Lyn Alden on Peter Mackormack’s show this week and her message was beautifully adjusted to his new audience. If you wanted to get your message out to another group, like Peter has, who would be your target audience?

Great episode! Up here in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada we have an active farmers market culture with a strong cash is king culture. I’m wondering if anyone listening here is from my area and would like to help to orange pill these folks? Also the idea of insisting on denominating in Sats; I lived in Mexico for two months once and by the end of that short time I had started to think in Pesos. It doesn’t take long. Cheers

Born in 1972, when I was kid living in Northern Ontario our local am station ran a « virtual » garage sale over the am radio waves every Sunday morning. It was awesome!

As an educator AI is a tool to first draft output like report card comments, email responses, lessons plans, and unit planning. Essentially it has increased my productivity, reducing my hours, allowing me to spend more time on human interactions with my students and colleagues. Same result as when I started using online testing tools and translation software (second language teacher) as they became more effective over the last 2 decades.

As a teacher AI is a tool to draft my lesson plans, report card comments, and emails. I have ideas around using it for assessment that I have not tested yet. So my hours of work have been reduced, the quality of my Productions has increased, and my pay has remained unchanged.

Stopped listening at the point where you said, « asked all the major LLMs and they all said vaccines cause autism » I just asked two different ones randomly and got the opposite answer. So which one of us is lying? Have the day you deserve.

This reminds me of the first book I read on blockchains « The Truth Machine ». Always building your reputation, still as anonymous as you choose, and your reputation still has value. Way down the line, but could you imagine a « sorry » button? And a « forgiven » button? Seems people either say nothing for fear of becoming a meme, or hide behind burner accounts, and have no guard rails. Wouldn’t it be nice to feel you could fuck up and make amends?

Genuinely enjoying this space, so different than “number go up” 24/7, thank you for that. Question, is there any folklore around the 21 million number? Why did Satoshi decide on 21? Many thanks.

A number of questions…how is Elon less of a ruler, by definition, not trying to be argumentative, and do we not delay the process of embracing the power of decentralization when we speak about the « rulers » we don’t hate like they are somehow better than the ones we do? If Elon wants my support tokenize and dentralize X and buy some of the coins.

This was one of my two favourites podcasts recently. For the same reason. Both guests, Simon Dixon here and Lyn Alden on Peter McCormack’s show, were outside of their usual comfort zone, and did great jobs framing things for the audience. It got me thinking how we need to meet people where they are. Cheers

Recently reread the Celestine Prophecy, the references to Iran, to money debasement, to the power of truth. It’s a lot of connections to our time for a 40 ish year old book.

This scenario runs through my head every time we talk about how much Strategy is holding. This administration or the next realizes a private company holds this much « power » and only 1% of citizens are holding bitcoin…how hard of a democratic sell is it to nationalize Strategy?

Saif I am trying to open my mind to these ideas, many ring true. A couple of questions for clarification: 1. Birth Lottery-I understand from this lecture that being born rich has no effect, am i misunderstanding? And 2. If everyone was a strong capitalist would there be enough wealth to go around, and enough consumers of the 100s of fish produced by the fishermen with the boat, nets, and other tools? Many thanks, Bill
