Also the 444 locking up utxos is the stupidest thing I've heard. If I'm a bad actor I'm not doing that kinda thing with my life saving stack. I'm using a wallet I just made and a hand full of sats from a BTC ATM.

I think if Trump was serious about bringing back manufacturing to the US you would see those around him investing in that sort of thing. This would be the investment opportunity of a lifetime. Instead you see those folks going to him to get special deals and exemptions to keep doing what they are doing. It's all about being the gate keeper and having control and not about setting American up for success.

Do you guys offer relationship advice? It's so great hearing you two do this show together. My ex and I do not talk at all, and I think that's kind of a bummer. How did you guys make it work?

Hi! I'm a long time Mac guy but I'm slowly but surely moving over to Linux. I'm in the market for hardware and would love to know if Brent has any thoughts he could share on the Framework 13 he's been using. My old setup was to use a MacBook Air as both my desktop and laptop by pairing it with a display when at home. Is there any reason why a Framework might not be up for this task? Is it capable of being a daily driver? Love the show. I'm so glad I found this podcast and would love to see a Texas meetup 🤠

You mentioned the JB website in this episode, and it reminded me of Office Hours. I know it's on hiatus, but it would be awesome to have a new episode that talks about how the websites doing, and how features like self-hosted RSS is coming along! Maybe there could be a "Office Hours Tax" on each JB show, were a small split goes to the Office Hours fund? (Also, this is a Star Trek boost, since the original is under the sat limit)

Surprise surprise, I'm still making my way up to the current episodes lol. Lesson for everybody, do not ever get behind! I think I've been catching up since The Bitcoin dad pod. It's been a while since we had a good old-fashioned Chris soap box! I enjoy them for no other reason than you are clearly passionate, and in this case people are actively (while maybe accidentally) advocating to keep podcasting stagnant. Keep up the good work!

Proud Canadian and bitcoiner here. Is our pm and government prefect hell no but If you want to talk about National embarrassment invite you to play any recent speech of your President. Do i agree with the deepening trade with china, no, but as Canadians we can make our own deals with the Chinese rather then lock in step with the US and the current admin of weapons grade incompetence.

I'm DCAing once a day at the moment. what I would love is to be able to DCA every block. Just a few little stats, symbolically buying my sliver of the new stats being mined.

My theory is weak hands are liquidating btc to get ready for the SpaceX IPO to hop on that wagon. Between the shit going on with the sp500 lining up for spacex and the AI bubble, I think we are in for quite the show of Wall Street shooting up, but then flop on it's side.... Keep humble stack sats and see you all on the other side of this mess in a few years.

Not sure why but my boost didn’t go through last time! I stack my FLACs with bandcamp if I can. For more mainstream FLAC stacking and streaming, i use Qobuz Studio Sublime. The discount on high-rez album purchases pays for the streaming so I might as well. That said, Tidal DL has me thinking abiut switching!

Hi everyone The boss of my department at work has resigned and I have taken the opportunity to take his place. I thought I would see if the term boss boost sounds catchy enough to add to the boost stack. Trying to use the amount of SATS to spell boss. I still think the coverage of the finer details or more technical details is important eg. new kernal features and the likes. Some of this content is hard to make exciting or sexy. But it needs to be addressed. This doesn't really happen anywhere else. Keep up the good work. And have a good week. Regards planetace

On a whim, I bought 28 old laptops for $160 off of Facebook Marketplace. Some are quite old, one even has a Windows 2000 sticker on it. My plan is to fix up as many as I can and turn them into serviceable, ultra low cost laptops for anyone who might need one. Besides swapping out for an SSD and installing Linux, any other tips on breathing new life into old hardware? For distro, I was thinking Mint with XFCE for good performance and usability, but open to suggestions. I'll also have to listen to your 32 bit episode again. Thanks!!

Sorry for the lack of SATs lately been stacking, but black Friday membership deal! You finely convinced me to go to nixos. Now its time for you to get your ham ticket. I challenge the 3 of you to do so in 2025. Gmrs can be useful, but ham radio is so much more, amateur radio is Linux, gmrs is android if you will.
