Thank You Sir
When it comes to pooling tokens for AI usage, the best way in my opinion would simply be to donate sats to teams who use ppq.ai (PayPerQ). Every prompt and response is simply priced in sats and taken from your balance.
I've found Kimi K3 is excellent at finding obscure bugs and security issues (I use the PI harness and the PPQ API). The utility is very real. Though it tends to run too fast and furious for my taste, and I don't trust these things as far as I can throw them. So I made it a "slow thinking" skill that forces it to literally slow down and wait until I fully understand what it's doing. I think it pays to keep a real life human mind in the loop when working with LLMs because real thinking requires contact with physical reality, and LLMs have none.

Thank you sir. I think the value and importance of trust in human society is sorely undervalued by the phrase, "Don't trust. Verify."

Phew finally caught up again. Long boost so you may need to find it on Nostr. I'll be frank you you, yours is the only Bitcoin podcast I listen to anymore. And it is because I think you are principled and honorable and your dedication to this show is admirable. Thank you, truly, for your time and effort. As for Mike selling Bitcoin to inoculate the market, I think it's reasonable. At their size and complexity, having the option to sell Bitcoin when they need to without causing the market to meltdown is probably valuable to them. So selling a pittance now gets the shock out of the way, and we can expect more in the future. Being humble before God is a subtle topic. There's no real way to express it in words. Being humble towards others is a start. Being humble towards yourself is, in my opinion, even better.

Thank you sir. Deoptimizing and taking my time feels good. Thanks Bitcoin. I've also been thinking about how much "Bitcoin is Money" might actually drive the fiat financialization of it. That's just how they use money. It's retarded but I guess it is what it is. Trying to stay within the arbitrary fountain boost display cutoff. RIP long boost messages.

Thank you sir. Mostly likely, the military won't be using Bitcoin as money or to make payments. I think they're taking seriously the theory that it can be used as a tool to secure networks. For anyone who's interested, I recommend reading Softwar or listening to the audiobook of it on fountain: fountain.fm/show/dqYmpfWuMQ10OXOsNvyv

Thank you my good sir Personally I don't think quantum will ever scale in a way they can overcome the error rate. I don't believe shortcuts around energy usage exist. If they did, there would be life forms or natural structures that could bypass the need to expend energy to do things. But there are none that I can think of.

With regards to trying to find dips to buy. Back in the day, I used to use Gemini to buy Bitcoin. Gemini has a great API for algorithmic trading. At the time, I had also read a great book called Algorithms to Live By. In it, the author described the Optimal Stopping Algorithm. In essence, it lets you choose the best time to buy or sell by watching the price for the first 37% of your time period. Then for the rest of the time, you buy at the first time you see the price dip below the lowest price you saw in the observation period. Or just buy at the end of the period. Theoretically, you have a 37% chance of catching the best price in that period. I wrote an algotrader in python to actually use this buying algorithm for a span of 6 months, and it actually worked pretty well. I didn't do any deeper analysis on it, but I would venture to say it would get you a lower cost basis than buying at a set time each week.

I think the pressure you put on these treasury companies to actually produce goods and services and perform beyond their Bitcoin holdings is very healthy, but also very ahead of the curve. If a company saw that the S&P was doing really well, and decided to put their treasury into the S&P index fund, many investors would start asking the same questions as you. "Why would I invest in you when I could buy the S&P myself? You need to be outperforming the S&P to be valuable." And I think that's exactly where the situation is heading, with investors holding companies' feet to the fire saying, "You need to be outperforming Bitcoin to be valuable."

I would use a third implementation of Bitcoin that is ossified and updated purely for security patches. Is it so hard to port security patches to every previous release so that every release is viable?

Your segues into your ad reads have been really good lately. Love it.

High signal week in week out. Keep up the good work. The emotion level is just right for me. If I were to gauge the success of all these crazy moves in the economy by the Trump administration, I would look at the number of reputable, genuinely independent news and entertainment media are in business by the end of the term. How many more independent banks. How many more independent small businesses. How much higher birth rates are. How many more people are debt free. All of these are, I think, signs of a healthy society. And if that's not the goal then I don't know what is.

I loved your breakdown of those 5 reasons. And I agree entirely with your points for why most benefits of Bitcoin often fail to convince anyone to buy it. I recently finished The Creature from Jekyll Island, and your point about the Fed and money creation reminded me of Griffin's Reasons for Abolishing the Federal Reserve: 1. It is incapable of accomplishing its stated objectives. 2. It is a cartel operating against the public interest. 3. It is the supreme instrument of usury. 4. It generates our most unfair tax. 5. It encourages war. 6. It destabilizes the economy. 7. It is an instrument of totalitarianism. And I find it fascinating that Bitcoin is its foil in all of these points.

Re: sponsorships I personally wouldn't mind, especially if it helps the show. I suggest soliciting the companies you already mention and branching out from there. The bull market has made the podcast space pretty noisy, so I've cut down my podcast subscriptions to just 3 for the time being: This Week in Bitcoin, Bitcoin And, and Preston's Bitcoin Fundamentals. Less is more for me now. I don't usually boost, so here's a hello from all the streamers. We appreciate your work, Chris (albeit silently). PS, the boost amount is the default port for Neo4j Browser.

There's a lot to learn from the forest. Thanks for sharing your insights.

I did the Ron Swanson giggle several times during the first half of this. Also, fountain streaming is temperamental right now, so my sats steaming cuts off almost every time.

I thought the ignorance of nocoiners was bad last cycle, but this time, with magnitudes more ignorant nocoiners pouring in with the most powerful narrative forming machine in history programming them, I think it's going to be much, much worse. Because they're not just going to be ignorant. They are going to be anxious, scared, hostile, and immune to reason.

Thank you for pushing hard on the Alby hub/start9 stuff recently. I just set it up and it was not too difficult. You can get it done with a bit of sweat and elbow grease. I just hope the backups work, since at no point was I made to write down a seed phrase.
