Unfortunately my experience with Universal Blue (bazzite) was not good. On initial setup it was fine, but over the first month boot time increased with every boot to about 10 minutes. When i checked what takes so long to start I saw some ostree or UBlue service (cant remember the name) taking 8+ minutes. Switched to Cachy OS and I'm very happy since. I got my parents on Cachy too, but it was a disaster - now they run Mint. OSes seem to not suit every tower PC and I dont know why. I would love to give Bazzite another try, but I'm scared about ruining my setup. Love the immutable setup though.

This is regarding the coverage of new releases like Fedora 41, Ubuntu 24.10 or even the cosmic desktop a while back: I absolutely love your talk about it. This is one of my favorite segments of the show. I unfortunately can't take time to take a look at all these on my own in the extend you do, so your discussions are very valuable for me!

I'm so sorry about my username. It is pronounced A-morph-us Phage. You can ask Wes - he got it in Linux Unplugged. Don't feel bad though, it is very though. I might consider changing it for you. Suggestions? Also, you absolutely nailed my opinion from my thought experiment boost. The fish outta water analogy is 100% true. Also deflation will be a problem. We need to stop chasing record after record. Slow and steady is definitely better!
