The conversation covers Luke's reversal on BIP-110, the governance concentration around Bitcoin Core, and why decentralized mining through Ocean, Datum, and Stratum V2 is essential for keeping the network resilient. Annoyingly, Knots has merged BIP-110. So we're losing implementations for Bitcoin, as it has turned into an implementation instead for BLV. LOVE what I'm seeing from Floresta and Utreexod though as some good alternatives with a sane way to approach utxo bloat in a wat that recognizes that no matter what the utxo set HAS to be way bigger for Bitcoin to grow.
