Super Argument Dennis.

Very enlightening insider view on some pretty gross corruption, and a clear sign that we need more node implementations, as well as decentralized funding, however that can be managed. I wouldn't mind excluding people willing to live in NYC, SF, and London, if it came down to either having them exclusively or everyone else. These are cities where the realities of economics are most hidden under layers of financialization, and so almost politics aside they churn out people less qualified to work on sound money for enabling trade in the real economy. This one's worth sharing around lest people continue to donate to these centers of corruption on whatever good intentions motivate them.

I confirm there’s a market for it. I’m also one of those long-term hodlers that just want to understand what’s happening in the market. Knowledge is power!

The 4 year cycles are also, as @npub1k7vkcxp7q… has pointed out, tied to the 3-5 year cycle of private debt refinancing that just so happens to have reset in 2008, and to an extent, again in 2020. Not just the halving and its impact on the miners. Bitcoin isn't JUST a play on global liquidity, but the fiat price of anything is impacted by it. Throw that into the halving cycle and you get some real synergy. That said, right NOW, interest rates are being a little stubborn, especially with CPI coming in hot. So the chopsolidation isn't too shocking. Watching that dynamic could yield some interesting insights.

Bitcoin is a monetary network and we can't give an inch to make it become a garbage storage. It would make Bitcoin indistinguishable from any random shitcoin.

Question I have @npub1s5yq6wadw… is regarding your monopoly board metaphor. If we have countries starting to adopt a bitcoin standard but others are still playing the fiat game. Does this put them at a disadvantage if the other countries can in the short term fund things (like war, production etc) that those in a sound money standard might not be able to do. Have I understood that right? So is the game theory we all have to keep playing these fiat games until we all fail and then in the rebuild a bitcoin standard can emerge. This is where I always get stuck when trying to map it out in my head. Great show @npub16le69k9hw… btw 🫡
