Q for the audience: Anyone got any suggestions for #bitcoin educational material for elementary age kids?

Just read “Tether Was Born On Bitcoin. Twelve Years Later, Is It Coming Back?” and it sounds like some important things regarding lightning are happening, particularly related to the first two of three companies mentioned in it. https://www.forbes.com/sites/boazsobrado/2026/03/31/tether-…

Just testing to see how Fountain boosts look in the new Helipad since it says it’s added support for their metadata. Also… I’m missing my TWIB fix while you’re attending SCaLE. I’m looking forward to hearing about the trip though! https://fountain.fm/show/51hgGerqfMRRaqT5npXx @nevent1qvzqqqp…

This BIP110 stuff makes me sick and is why I returned to core a while back. Q: where are Jack Mallers, Jack Dorsey, & Michael Saylor on this? Can they not help counter this stupidity with their reach & influence? What about the other treasury companies that have a vested interest here and big microphones?

🤔💭I wonder if Wes could update y’all’s boost tooling to resolve Nostr addresses as I tend to boost this show from Fountain simply because it also posts to Nostr. I wonder if the the tooling could also use info Fountain includes in boosts to make that easier. That would help with truncated boosts from here too since Nostr notes can be way longer than boosts natively support.

From what I’ve learned thus far, it feels to me like there are other things at play that generally line up on 4 year intervals rather than #bitcoin itself having a 4 year cycle. Primarily, I think what you’ve laid out previously about the liquidity market being the driver is key.

So glad you decided to do the show today! I always want to hear your take, even when it’s all macro news
-
I’d absolutely attend a #bitcoin event, especially one hosted by you @Chris Fisher

Speaking of Strak and Shake, did you see that they are working with Fold to pay employees a “Bitcoin Bonus?’” https://finance.yahoo.com/news/steak-n-shake-pay-bitcoin-21…

I’d love to get your take on the “Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2” https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/introducing-the-raspberry-… https://fountain.fm/show/dWiuBeqpDSM86AwXRXov @nevent1qvzqqqp…

Hell no to a CDBC

Unchained Capital has a Bitcoin IRA that uses a multisig setup that’s compatible with the Trezor One… it’s a nice option for rolling over a 401k from a previous employer… just sayin’

HODL’ing ‘til the the cows come home… I’m in no hurry since I wasn’t expecting any real upside until 4 or 5 years in anyhow. I only started dipping my toes in beyond lightning in March 2024 but learned that HODL’ing is the way.

Any western nation talking about the the downside of not being able to feed itself needs to shut up and read “Hidden Repression: How the IMF and World Bank Sell Exploitation as Development”

Regarding the dual mandate, I think Matthew nailed it: “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”

Regarding your question, I love UniFi.

Chris - stay nostalgic and put your BlueVault disks in here: https://amzn.to/45BWovK :)

Backblaze B2 of backups is the way, imo.

Suits me if some deep-pocketed types are toying with the people doing high leverage stuff against Bitcoin as that mess seems to artificially distort the actual market value of BTC… or that’s my layman’s impression at least

Are you staying on Knots or Core? If Core 30, are you making any changes to the default configuration?
