Hey Chris, thank you for the value. I’ve been thinking about ways to get my friends and family into bitcoin but no matter what it just won’t click for them. I know you get bitcoin at the price you deserve but it still feels like I’m failing the people I care about. Thougths?

Hey Chris, I’ve got a Lightning question for you. I recently set up an LND node on a Linux-Debian Lenovo laptop, and I quickly learned that for good routing performance, channels typically need to be at least 1–2M sats. My question is: when Bitcoin pumps again, and the fiat value of sats increases, do you think the recommended minimum channel size will shrink? Would it then make sense to open smaller channels now and just give the price time to catch up?

Hey Chris, Regarding the 4 year cycle, (to me) it would be great to have a couple of more years to stack cheaper sats. Bitcoin pumping is fun but it also means fewer sats for the stackers. Thank you for the value

I’m not the biggest fan of the name “digital asset” but you may be right. I’m not sure crypto can shake off it’s scammy connotation but it’s kind of happened before, like what happened with the internet and the email when it was starting out. Great show as always🧡

Hey Chris. Regarding the news bit where they talk about crypto but only show bitcoin related images. It got me thinking about how the word will eventually be used when the shitcoins die down. Do you see a future where “Crypto” would eventually be synonymous with bitcoin and not an umbrella term? Just a thought, thanks.

Awesome conversation with Calle. Ecash is very interesting concept. Agree also about there is not enough Bitcoin conversation on Nostr. Bitcoiners should use Nostr tech way more like Nostrnests and ZapStreams for Bitcoin conversations as it fulfill more the freedom ethology bitcoiners are trying to build here, and getting rid off those centralized control of the web and money. Good episode and interesting talk about those copyrights. You talked about how Bitcoin Standard has been sold as paperback without knowing it, because someone else published those on Amazon. Would there be any difference if you would f.ex. publish Bitcoin Standard for free on a website where everyone who visit the site could read the book there. But someone else would then translate it to a different language, but host it on a different website? What if the author would also be mentioned and referred to the original website where the book is hosted at. Would that still count as a violation on copyrights?
