Hey GeneBean! I was wondering when I’d hear the BitBox mentioned. I chose this device for a few key reasons, the big ones were a sleek look for the spousal approval factor, no Bluetooth, and some way to know I can trust the software. It is open source and lets you verify the reproducibility of the firmware and associated (optional) mobile app. Supports multisig and you can interface with a Sparrow wallet if you don’t want to use the app. My only hesitation was that it’s USB, but a thorough read of the security & threat model gave me the assurances I needed. Great writeup on proxying bitcoin through a VPS btw! This is one of the last pieces in the puzzle for me to go live with a hardware wallet.

My hobby is farming a small vineyard and making wine from it every year. Promoting soil health has been a game changer over the years, I’m not only practicing viticulture but also becoming a mycelium and dirt farmer.

Been passively stacking with Fold+ for a couple years now, about 13mm sats. I spend over 10k/month to get ACH rewards of about 1% back on my mortgage and a few other bills. Recently got a Venmo CC to get greater % rewards on bills and groceries (1-3%) and then they auto buy BTC at statement period end. I am planning to go all in with the Fold CC once it's released, though.
