Loved the Gaming episode! I'm more of a competitive fps player so Overwatch, The Finals, and Splitgate for me. Like Brent I have never played StarCraft so he's not alone. For single player games, I'm currently playing Hogwarts Legacy. Though back up your saves cause Steam Cloud can be a bit finicky with multiple devices. Nearly lost 30hrs of gameplay if it wasn't for my steamdeck being shutdown when it happened. Overall, I definitely would like to see more gaming content. Might be an excuse if you guys Livestream with peertube or owncast if that's the case. Even Zap.stream has a platform built on Nostr and Sat Streaming. Or just an episode covering selfhosted live streaming. Rehellio is my tag on Steam if anyone is curious. Can't wait to see ya over at LFNW!

I’d love to hear some Bitcoin stats each episode. Also, yes, I’m stacking for retirement. Each paycheck I set aside some money for my brokerage, my IRA, and Bitcoin. I’m pretty sure I’ll regret not putting everything in Bitcoin in the future, but I currently sleep soundly at night.

Great show you guys have. I love to hear about the behind the scenes work when it comes to podcasting 2.0. With regards to with auto generating voice for podcasting. This is happening with YouTube shorts and a lot of summary type videos for movies and shows so I wouldn't be surprised the same thing happens with podcasting. You're alright though, for me I do prefer the personal touch with podcasts so hopefully it won't be as big an issue as it is on video sharing sites.

Okay sending a boost cause I didn't realize my wallet ran out of sats. DERP moment. With regard with the last episode with crush it really resonated with me cause I'm currently using Warp Terminal and Claude to go through all my markdown notes and clean them up. Plus it help me learn how to research and tech it to use ddgr and lynx to breakdown information and give me summaries. It took me about a week though to get the rules tune cause it like trying to guide a toddler. Anyways I'm warming up to the idea of using llms as a tool to solve problems and document work process that I can reference later. Anyways love U guys! 🙃

I am really interested in bcachefs, but I think it’s perfectly acceptable for the maintainers to kick it if the maintainer is a jerk. I’ve worked with really smart jerks and it just isn’t worth it. To be fair, I also don’t agree with how Linus treats people, but no one has the power to change Linus, they do have the power to not perpetuate it though. I hope they work it out.

I think the livestream all will probably great work for you. You could also set up a memberful account like what Jupiter Broadcasting does and they distribute the raw/no ads live shows from there too. Just an idea so you can generate some monthly income.

I want someone to integrate #Bitchat bridging into the #Meshtastic firmware so you can optionally have people on both chattting away, say at a camp out or conference. Each participating Meshtastic radio would be able to support nearby people in my theoretical world.

Hey, would it be possible for you guys to shout out the Sat streamers who've stream over 2000 sats? I don't know how feasible that is, but that world be cool. My opinion is that sat streaming will probably be more important for live streaming and podcasts. Especially music podcasts. I don't like picking one specific artist to boost. I like them all sometimes.

I used to play trumpet when I was in school. I still even have the old trumpet in my closet just collecting dust. Needs polishing work but every once in awhile, I'll play it. Honestly got more value out of the music theory because it helps me understand the basic principles of things a little easier. Anyways wish your daughter's good luck.

Very happy Framework 13 owner here. I have it ‘docked’ most of the time, but it’s driving 2 32” curved USB-C displays and it’s own screen. The only time I notice any fan noise is when watching YouTube videos for an extended period. I love the hot-swapping ports and the repairability, though I haven’t had to repair anything because it’s been incredibly reliable. It probably helps that I use external keyboard and mouse most of the time. Currently running Plasma 6.2 on Fedora 40. YMMV, but I am very happy with this purchase.

Whatever happened to using IPFS for your distributed storage needs? Oh, and don’t forget to talk about your switch away from the AppleTV.

Why did the immutable operating system go to therapy? Because it was feeling a little "unchangeable" and needed to work through some "persistent" issues! But in the end, it just had to "commit" to being itself and "roll back" its anxiety!

I'm really interested in what Cannonical has with Private Mobile Networks. Currently, I work with a local ISP that uses mostly Ubiquity AirMax Radios for Internet, but am looking into alternatives. This might be the solution to look into on our end for last mile connections. Plus we already have a few Microwave Connections so understand the licensing process. While I love to hear more gaming stuff in general, I think just discussing your experience instead of listening to clips would be the best way to go forward. Just hearing you guys playing and not having visual context was the confusing part. Otherwise you're better off just creating a gaming video instead as extra content for those curious. I get things are hard atm, but I wouldn't give up on the Bitcoin side. Keep it there, but also promote more of your paypal donations and amazon wishlist. Your music podcast really introduces me to all sorts of rock music and it is awesome. Even with your upcoming homestead podcast, you should enable it cause for me I mainly sat stream and it would suck to lose the ability to do that on your podcasts. Yeah I have to be careful during the holiday season as well. My little sister is a heart patient and we have to be vigilant. Unlike last year, she was down for the count for nearly a month. And I think she also caught pneumonia in the process too. So yeah, I understand your vigilance when it comes to making sure you're not getting sick as much as possible, and especially with the norovirus. Anyways, I hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving. This is a back in time boost, so I'm still catching up.

Back in time Boost - During our Thanksgiving Honday, we ended up qualifying for two turkeys at our local WinCo. Sad part I didn't realize this till I got back with an item we initially forgot. So I had to run back again to grab another Frozen Turkey. It still sitting in the freezer to this day. We'll probably cook it for new years or Christmas. Anyways have a Happy Holidays! When it comes to running relays, you guys can probably run your own filtered relay. Because if you take a look at a relay called filter.noster.wine, it has a way of aggregating multiple relays and giving you a feed. This is designed to reduce spam on the nostr network and also battery life because it's there's less rela's ones phone has to communicate to. So, if each podcast app has its own relay to handle its own community, then PodcastIndex can just take in those feeds that are submitted and then aggregate them together into a single global feed. Then that way that gives you a central information point, but if you guys go down, each podcaster has their own relay and then can handle their own loads. Just my two cents, still love you guys and I'll bet you do. Go podcasting.

The interview that Gardner Bryant did with Kyle from the Bazzite did a good overview of the situation. In all actuality if it came to it, this might be a situation where if 32-bit is important for steam and game preservation, it should be up to Valve to provide a way for this. The steam client already uses containers runtimes for stabilization so this also could apply to 32-bit support. Valve can also maintain there own repository of 32-bit libraries that distributions can pull from instead too. Also 3rd party repositorys are a thing and I wouldn't put it past someone to maintain on for this very reason too. Love ya Noah and Steve!
